At Azraq Group, we believe that achieving distinctive production starts from the nursery, so we manufacture plastic buildings dedicated to the production of seedlings to ensure obtaining high-quality seedlings to plant them in other buildings in the project or to sell them to other farmers in the area.

Components of the nursery:

- Steel structure (building design varies according to the area and required specifications).
- Systems needed to control temperature and humidity (cooling systems, ventilation systems, heating systems).
- Aluminum tables: 80 cm high and seed trays are placed on them.
- Trays: for seedling cultivation.
- Irrigation and fertilization systems, which are carried out by an automated irrigation system by means of arms that disperse water in an orderly manner on plants. The arms are operated by an automatic control device to ensure that the plants grow in a consistent and uniform manner.
- Grain seeding machine: This machine sows seeds in trays in a regular and precise manner inside the seedlings, thus saving quantities of grain that are often expensive.

The construction of a packaging house is carried out in accordance with international standards.

• The building: The structure of the building is made of steel and is wide and high. The building is ventilated and isolated with the use of an insulating material which preserves a stable and relatively low temperature. The doors of the packaging house are electrical. The roof and the sides are covered with galvanized iron sheets and painted white to deflect excess UV radiation.

• Sorting machine :This machine enables the fruit to be rinsed with hot or cold water as well as the drying and sorting of the fruit according to its size, color and weight. Rinsing the fruit with purified water is an important part of the cleaning process to remove dust and pesticides as well as to prevent bacteria which is liable to cause damage during the storage and the transportation of the fruit. The fruit is rinsed and packaged in accordance with the criteria set out by the authorities in the United States of America, Canada and Europe.

• Refrigerators: Refrigeration chambers ensure the maintenance of the required temperature and humidity level for each type of fruit. The size of the refrigerator is determined in accordance with the amount of fruit which will be stored during any particular harvest season.

Arzaq Group provides a control system for fertilization and irrigation. The system depends on the preparation of different fertilizing solutions according to the growth stage. The system contains fertilizer tanks according to the area and needs of the buildings, usually ranging from 3-5 tanks, so that each tank is connected to a fertilizer pump. One of these tanks contains acid to reduce the alkalinity level (PH) in the irrigation water to 6.0.

The device also includes a mixer to dissolve and mix fertilizers and to accurately measure the amount of fertilizers. It also contains a strainer to avoid clogging the droppers with fertilizer deposits or other materials. The device also includes EC and PH control systems. Fertilization is carried out using variable concentrations according to the growth stage of the crop.

The control is by computers, which facilitates the control of the irrigation, fertilization and refining process. If the crops are raised in ordinary soil, and in small houses in particular, it is possible to operate the irrigation and fertilization devices manually.
